The Philips LFH3500 SpeechMike Premium takes dictation to a new level. May it be the free-floating studio quality Precision Microphone, a microphone grille with optimised structure, built-in noise-reduction pop filter, or the world’s first motion sensor in a stationary digital dictation device – the SpeechMike Premium sets the new standard.
The microphone in the new SpeechMike Premium is decoupled from its housing for the most incredible crystal clear recording performance ever to be delivered by a desktop dictation device. The completely redesigned microphone suspension guarantees that almost no background, touch, click, air or structure-borne noise is recorded. This technique is derived from studio microphones to make sure there are no sound distortions whatsoever – and to guarantee outstanding speech recognition results.

Easy Disinfection The entire Philips SpeechMike can be cleaned and disinfected with conventional cleaning agents which will not alter its unique properties. We recommend dedicated cleaning cloths for the medical field, such as the Bacillol 30 wipes for example. |

No Breeding Ground for Germs The plastic housing of the Philips SpeechMike has been tested according to the high-quality standards of ISO 856: 2019 (effect of microorganisms on plastics). The test results showed that the plastic material of the SpeechMike Premium does not provide a breeding ground for germs and fungi. No growth was possible in 99.9995% of the germs due to the nature of the plastic. In other words, bacteria and fungi cannot feed on the plastic material itself and will therefore not breed. |

Smart, backwards compatible firmware for extra flexibility Customers can upgrade from their previous SpeechMike model without installing additional software. For integrators, this means no changes need to be implemented and the existing SDK can be used. The SpeechMike Premium is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as virtual environments such as Citrix, VM Ware and Hyper-V. It can be configured using SpeechControl, the convenient Philips hardware management tool. |
