Philips SpeechExec Compatibility with Windows 10 OS Update | How to upgrade to Version 10

For SpeechExec users who are running Software Versions 7 up to 8.6, your software will no longer be compatible with the new Windows 10 Operating System; here is your guide for ensuring that you have the latest software installed so you can continue working efficiently and securely.

Note: you can no longer upgrade free of charge to the latest version from SpeechExec versions 8.6 and earlier.

Check Your Software Version

If you are currently running SpeechExec versions 7 to 8.6, it is more than likely that the software won't run after the update to the Windows 10 OS. In order to continue using your Professional Dictation Solution, you will need to upgrade to the latest version, SpeechExec 10.

How to upgrade to SpeechExec 10

It is our priority to ensure that you are able to continue working effectively with your SpeechExec software package; we have a couple of options available to our customers to make sure that the transition to SpeechExec 10 runs as smoothly as possible. You can do this yourself through the software application, or contact ourselves at Speak-IT Solutions and we can update and activate the new software for you.

 

Option 1

We can now include a single free-of-charge license for SpeechExec alongside a purchase of a 24 month subscription to the Philips Speech Live cloud service. A subscription to Philips SpeechLive includes many additional benefits:

• Mobile dictation - use your smartphone or dictation device to send voice recordings on-the-go for transcription via your personal assistant, the SpeechLive transcription service, or automatic Speech Recognition transcription
• Enhanced security and flexibility
• The current version works with Windows 10, and users will not have to worry about OS upgrades and compatibility again as the software automatically runs the latest version

Option 2
